BSG at Comic-Con: First Reports

io9 reports on viewing the original test animations for Bryan Singer's 2001 concept for the new Battlestar Galactica series, and how Singer opted out due to both the events of 9/11 and the opportunities for X-Men 2 and Superman Returns. Check out the article here, with sweet concept art images. Some of the ideas and designs stayed pretty close to Singer's, but I think we're all pretty glad the Cylons were redesigned.
